Do not worry — deleted files are moved to the Trash, where they are held for 30 days. You can restore them to their original location with a single click at any time during this period. On Medium and Big Drive plans, version history also lets you recover previous versions of edited files, giving you an additional safety net for your most important documents.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time from within your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are only charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If your current storage usage exceeds the capacity of the plan you are downgrading to, you will need to reduce your storage before the change takes effect.
